India Gate

Bahai (Lotus) Temple

The Bahai Temple is commonly referred to as the Lotus Temple, as it’s shaped like a lotus flower.Made out of white marble, the temple belongs to the Bahai Faith, which proclaims the unity of all people and religions. Everybody is welcome to worship there.

National Museum

The National Museum in New Delhi is one of the largest museums in India. The museum has in its possession over 200,000 works of art, of both Indian and foreign origin, covering more than 5,000 years of Indian cultural heritage.

One of the most prominent and largest Gurdwaras in Delhi, Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is the most visited one in the Delhi. Millions visit this Gurdwara from all over the world and of all religions to offer their prayers at this elegant yet historical Gurdwara in Delhi.

Humayun’s Tomb

It was also the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scaleit was the inspiration for the Taj Mahal’s creation. The tomb was built in 1570, and houses the body of the second Mughal emperor, Humayun. It was the first of this type of Mughal architecture to be built in India. Inside the walled enclosure the most notable features are the garden squares (chaharbagh).
